+Ganeti Managementgateway
+========================
+
+Ganeti Management Gateway is a piece of software  managing access to consoles
+in a `Ganeti <http://code.google.com/p/ganeti/>`_ VM cluster.
+
+It uses `openvpn <http://openvpn.net/>`_ and Linux `netfilter
+<http://www.netfilter.org/>`_ to grant or deny access. 
+An example for a setup using this software is the `Arcade Cluster
+<https://wiki.linz.funkfeuer.at/funkfeuer/ArcadeCluster>`_ (there is a nice
+picture illustrating the network setup on that page).
+
+Installation 
+============
+
+Installation and requirements are documented in the doc directory. Documentation
+was done with `Sphinx <http://sphinx-doc.org/>`_. Install sphinx and type 
+``make html``.
